Beyond the square you will quickly reach the sights of the city centre, including the Cathedral , Royal Chapel and the Moorish-style Alcaicería bazaar. In the opposite direction you will find Sacromonte, an area of cave houses famous for its flamenco shows. At the top of the Albaicín you will find the Mirador de San Nicolás, a viewpoint offering spectacular views over the city, the Alhambra and the snow-topped mountains of the Sierra Nevada beyond.
